# Accessibility Statement

Syndell is committed to making syndelltech.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.

Standards we target

We build this site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Every page we ship is checked with automated axe-core scans covering color contrast, keyboard navigation, semantic structure, ARIA usage, and alt text, and we track the result of every scan rather than treating accessibility as a one-time audit.

What we have in place

• A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen reader users.
• Full keyboard navigation, including visible focus states and no keyboard traps in menus or dropdowns.
• Semantic HTML structure (single `h1` per page, ordered heading levels, `nav`, `main`, `footer` landmarks).
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, with decorative images marked so screen readers skip them.
• Text and interface color contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA minimums (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
• A dark mode and light mode, both built to the same contrast standard.
• Support for browser-level text zoom up to 200% without loss of content or function.

Known limitations

We are a growing site and not every page has reached full parity yet. If you encounter a page, image, or interactive element that does not work well with your assistive technology, we want to know about it specifically so we can fix it.
